The School Week.

 Tomorrow on Saturday my family and I are going to AG Feast in Greymouth which I am so excited about.

last week the police came in to talk about types of abuse. There is child abuse, sexual, cyber, physical and lots more.

Today is cloudy and sunny at the same time which is funny hahaha.

Super Market.

 Today my class and I are going to the super market for food for thought and we have to complete this activity. in my group is Addison, Isabel and Connor. we are travailing by bus and I am really excited to go to the super market.

Handwriting

 Hi,

Today I did some handwriting in class and I choose to do B.

I am still learning how to do handwriting but here is a picture of what it looks like.

My Sister

last month my sister came home and then in the weekend she took me to the movies and we watched Astro Boy which was amazing and funny at the same time. her name is Bridget and she is very kind and today she has gone to grey high to talk to somebody about a job at some schools and she has got 10 choices and she will be seeing the person today to see what school she will be at for the summer and hopefully it will be my school so then I can walk home and to school with her.

Term 3 2020

In the holidays my family and I went to Dunedin to take my brother and two sisters back so they could go back to study.  What did you do in the holidays?
Term 3 has finally come and I am so excited because I thought term 2 was a very long term.

Clay Horse

These are my Clay horse photos that I had to make for a class project. 

To make the eyes I put little beads on the places where the eyes go on. For the mane I got a knife and carefully drew lines I hope you like them.

These are my popcorn photos of when Penny and I where making our popcorn.

We added skittles,cinnamon, and melted white chocolate.

First we melted the white chocolate in a bowl and stir to make sure that it has melted completely. Then put the popcorn in another bowl and add the melted chocolate. Before the chocolate hardens put two handfuls of skittles in the bowl with the melted chocolate, add a pinch of cinnamon and mix. Then don't forget to be a tidy cook and tidy the things you are not using along the way. The last step is to enjoy.

Wreath

 This is my wreath I made it using an egg carton, shaped it to three petals and painted it and glued it to the rim of a paper plate then hung it to my gate post.

ANZAC biscuits

These are my ANZAC biscuits I made on Thursday with my Mum. Some are plain, some have peanuts, and some have chocolate chips. They were delicious except we cooked the chocolate chip ones a bit too long!

We had to write a story about the scariest thing that ever happened to me so i thought of the time when a spider was on my tummy.

My Easter Garden

My sister and I wanted to make an Easter Garden because Holy Week felt so different in lockdown, because we couldn't go to church.
The first picture above shows Jesus' tomb on Good Friday with the big rock sealing the tomb entrance. 


The second picture shows what it was like on Easter Sunday morning when Jesus rose from the dead. The stone has been rolled away and we can see that just the material which had been wrapped around him is folded neatly.
We lit a candle to remind us of the Paschal candle, and Alleluia is our Easter word.

We really enjoyed making this Easter Garden and thinking about how we could use.
We used pebbles, moss, grass, soil, a coffee mug for the tomb, sticks tied together to make the crosses, a small white handkerchief, a big rock, 3 little egg cups to hold the flowers, and flowers and water.
And in front is our palm leaf we used on Palm Sunday.
